We search the face index

What is a reverse face search?
A reverse face search takes a photo of a face and looks for other public web pages that show a similar face. Unlike Google Lens or TinEye, which look for copies of the same image, a face search can find different photos of the same-looking person: a conference photo, a team page or an old profile picture.
How much does Facehunch cost?
Searches are prepaid: $4.99 for one, $19 for five or $29 for ten. There is no subscription, no auto-renewal and credits do not expire. One credit runs one search, including a search that returns no matches. See pricing.
Where do the results come from?
Facehunch searches a face index of public web pages, then adds name-aware ranking, a saved report and a research assistant on top. Every result links to the page it was found on, so you can check the context yourself.
Is a high similarity score proof of identity?
No. A score tells you how alike two faces look, not who someone is. Lookalikes are common. Treat a strong match as a lead, open the source page and confirm with other evidence before acting on it.
Who is it for?
People checking that someone they already talk to is real: a dating match, a seller, a landlord or a new business contact. It is also for finding where your own photos are used and for documenting impersonation. It is not for identifying strangers, and searching children is not allowed.
Can it find private Instagram or Facebook photos?
No. Only publicly reachable pages can appear. Private accounts, closed groups and pages that block indexing will not show up, so an empty result does not mean a person has no online presence.
